According the sources, Saoirse Ronan (from Lovely Bones) is set to play the lead (Wanderer?) in The Host. Am I the only one who didn't know they were making The Host into a movie? I'm actually pretty excited about seeing this book on the big screen. Now who's going to play Jared?
I read something about this yesterday. You'd be surprised at how many YA books have been sold to movie studios. Not all get picked up though. I really hope this one follows through though. I always thought it would make an excellent movie!

Will she play Wanderer at the end, or Melanie? I pictured Melanie differently but that's fine! I'm just excited for the movie too :)

I had heard a long time ago that it was being made into a movie from the SM site. However then I didn't hear anything else for like a year or so! I'm excited as well to see this! I also hope SM writes more books for this series!
