Before scientists found the cure, people thought love was a good thing. They didn’t understand that once love - the deliria - blooms in your blood, there is no escaping its hold. Things are different now. Scientists are able to eradicate love, and the governments demands that all citizens receive the cure upon turning eighteen. Lena Holoway has always looked forward to the day when she’ll be cured. A life without love is a life without pain: safe, measured, predictable, and happy. But with ninety-five days left until her treatment, Lena does the unthinkable: She falls in love.
I am totally pushing this book to everyone I know & 1.) I haven't even finished it yet! & 2.) it's not even out yet! However.. I have some secrets to share if you have an e-reader (nook/kindle). I recently discovered this little place called netGalley that offers tons & tons of books for FREE that have not been published yet - the catch? you just need to have a blog. It's awesome & I'm totally loving it.
About Delirium - this is the perfect antidote for all you Hunger Games fans! This dystopian book is A-MAZING. I don't know another word that does it justice. Seriously. If you don't have an e-reader & can't download it from the above mentioned, then you just have to wait until February 1st when it will be published. This story is so compelling & by far one of the best books I've read in a long time.
