InStyle has some of the Twilight Saga cast's high school pictures and a blurb about each of them. Cute, eh? But check out Kristen's:
---------------------------------------
SCHOOL: A. E. Wright Middle School, Calabasas, California
ACTIVITIES: Writing, photography
HIGH SCHOOL MEMORY: “I had to stop going to school because I worked [in films] too much and my teachers resented me a lot. But I really love home school—independent study is for me.
--------------------------------------
Wait, her teachers resented her? I know we have some teachers that read and post on this blog. Any teachers resent their students? I'm honestly curious.
(If you're interested in the rest of the cast, read the rest of the InStyle article here: http://www.instyle.com/instyle/package/general/photos/0,,20237332_20298877_20659764,00.html)

4 enjoyed the bouquet.:
ok first of all.. what teacher ever resents their student?! that sounds like Kristen was full of herself from the get-go.
I looked at the rest of the gallery.. and I love how they all JUST graduated within the past 5-7 years!! haha Really not that long ago people.
My teachers don't like my class... but me personally? They love me! :D
That was fun to look at! Esp SM. lol!
Honestly? If I had a student who was in and out of school because of film work, I'd be annoyed. I don't think I'd be resentful per se, but definitely annoyed. It's so hard to get new students during the year and have to catch them up on whatever unit we're on - I can't imagine having to do it multiple times throughout the year.
And while we try to individualize curriculum to accomodate students as much as possible, if she was looking for people to cater to her schedule, she should have gone to a private school. The public system just can't handle that need, in my opinion. Besides, she seems like she'd be a snotty, arrogant student, so I doubt her personality encouraged her teachers to give her extra help.
My students and I talked about Jersey Shore today :-) Fun!
Agreeing with Ginger, that resentful comment just seems very egotistical.
