Hunger Games MOVIE!
OK, this is old news, but I did a little searching based on Maggie and Kari's comments on Ryah's The Host movie post, and Hunger Games WILL be a movie! Suzanne Collins is writing her own screenplay. The rights have been purchased by Lionsgate. YAYYYYY!

Via CNN.com, Sarah Michelle Prinze (when did she switch from Gellar? I mean, I understand they were married a while ago, but I just thought she'd keep her public name as Gellar...) and Freddie Prinze Junior welcomed Charlotte Grace Prinze on September 19.
I want to see that kid and Renesmee go head-to-head. CGP what?!

Normally people are not happy about the experience. But some Twilight fans feel this is all part of the Twilight experience.”
“It’s strange, but I do have people wanting to get speeding tickets from the Forks police department,” he says. Some have gone to even greater lengths for that small piece of paper: “I’ve had people flash me to get an indecent exposure ticket.” So far, “it’s only been women.”

"Official" Forks Map
I forgot to post this from my recent trip to Forks this year. I was looking for souveniers that were not cheesy, overpriced and mass produced. I stopped at an Ace Hardware in Forks, and this is their "Un-official, Un-authorized, Unclaimed" map of the city. It actually is pretty accurate for the town. Thought you might enjoy. Shiny Vampire Baby
So this is what I've been up to... Owen Timothy was born last Friday, August 28 at 4:18 pm. He weighed 7 pounds 9 ounces and was 21 1/2 inches long. This pic was probably taken on day three. Look at his fangs and how he shines in the daylight! Cheers to the newest member of the SVC!
I need someone to explain this to me...
I've just visited SM's website and the latest post has me tilting my head in question. What is the reasoning behind THIS??? Is there some sort of fascination with The Host for the skateboarding world?? it seems so weird to me- what do you think?
Isn't it really just all about Jasper?
First off I have to say- Sorry! I've not been in a very inspired mood lately, and thus there were no SVC blogs this week! I will try to not let that happen again! So- to get me back in the Twilight mentality I thought I'd post this little snippet of an interview with Jackson Rathbone talking about what we should expect to see of Jasper and his story in Eclipse- Cause really, a liitle bit of Jasper in one's day can make a girl feel better and inspired ;)
MTV: Are there training scenes in “Eclipse” along these lines?
Rathbone: It’s interesting; there’s a lot of cool scenes where Jasper trains the Cullen family on how to fight the newborns. He gets to train Emmett — and Emmett is a born fighter — so he’s telling Emmett all these techniques, and Emmett thinks he could just best Jasper [during their sparring]. Jasper ends up getting the best of him, because it’s a war mentality, not just a street brawl. It’s about thinking ahead; it’s a chess game.
MTV: Cool. Will we see the scene where Jasper gets bitten?
Rathbone: Oh yeah, we have to see that. It’s going to be great. I’ve been studying up a lot on the Civil War and that era. It really was a crazy time. It was all-out war on our own turf and between countrymen. That’s terrible. It’s an interesting time to see when Jasper was actually human and what his human form was and, when he gets turned, how intense and how dark he is. Then [we'll see] his realization of what he’s become, him finding Alice and being redeemed by love.
MTV: And is that the first time we’ll see your powers?
Rathbone: Actually, in “New Moon,” we get a little glimpse. Inside the school
