Hmm.. this is odd news to me. I know she's been dabbling more in jobs behind the camera. She produced that new movie "He's Just Not That Into You" (which she also starred in). Not sure about her Director abilities though.
Does anyone know why Chris Weitz won't be directing Eclipse?! was there a reason??
Ginger, I think I read somewhere that he won’t be directing Eclipse because New Moon will be in the final editing stage when Eclipse begins filming. It would be nearly impossible for him to be in two places, working on two different movies at once. And personally, I'd rather he put all his attention into producing the best possible film for NM. Because otherwise we could end up with two half quality movies for both NM and Eclipse and I for one wouldn’t be pleased by that….especially after CH trashed the Twilight script and film (stupid dramatic angles, sparkle music and added nonsense scenes).

I don't know how I feel yet about that.
