OOO! Yay...good question Ryah! I'm always looking for good books! This will be fun!
Well I think most of you have read the series I'm on now (since I learned about it from SVC!) I just finished City of Bones by Cassandra Clare! SO VERY GOOD! I asked my Brother if he'd pick up the next one for me! YAY! PLEASE tell me they aren't really Brother and Sister!! :( Otherwise who's the love interest for Clary? Thanks again for the heads up on this series!
heather- you will have to wait and see!!! when you are done with Citu of ashes we will chat!
I just finished, Dead until Dark, the first book in the Southern Vampire Series- it was good. The books are going to be turned into a TV drama this fall- it is a very interesting take on the vampire world. (they are by Charlaine Harris)
Right now I am reading Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, by Gregory Maguire.
I really like, took a while to get into it.
Then I'm planning on reading The Secret Life of Bees.
The Secret Life of Bees is really good!
I just read Looking for Alaska by John Green, I really enjoyed it (I saw that TwilightGuy was reading it, so I gave it a chance) I also just read After Dachau by Daniel Quinn, his books are always amazing/strangely life changing and I also recommend Ishmael by him too.
I loved Looking for Alaska! I have never heard of After Dachau. I will have to get it. Thanks Maggie!
Ooh, Heather, glad you liked COB! I liked COA even more...
Though I SHOULD be starting Harry Potter next, my sister lent me Love the One You're With by Emily Giffin and that one is drawing me in the most. And I still have that Teenage Amnesiac (sp?) one from you, Jes! :-)
I am reading Gossip Girl (or rather, forcing Corinne to read them to me while I lay around). Pure glorious fluff.
I want to start Wicked Lovely.
Oh yeah, and I love COB and COA!!
I must read Gossip Girls.
And Kari, I loved Wicked Lovely. That reminds me...I never finished Ink Exchange!! Add that to my list...
I'm going to be honest, I really didn't like Wicked Lovely. I felt like the writer was trying too hard to make her characters seem cool. It just annoyed me.
Hmmm... good books... I enjoyed the Maximum Ride series but the other books that you people are reading sound like romance novels and I prefer action/ adventure/ fantasy. The Twilight Saga was first romance other than Wuthering Hights that I read. The Maximum Ride books are about 6 kids who were taken from there parents upon birth and are 98% human and 2% bird and then they escape and yada yada yada. The 5th book is coming out in march 2009 and there thinking about a movie.
G2g read rest of posts.
