Which of the antagonist(s) in the series frightens you the most?

7 enjoyed the bouquet.:
Jane. Definitely. She freaks me out. James and Victoria were much more up front about their evil nature, and I think the unknown is always scarier. Which is why the Volturi terrifies me...
Aro. I think he's up to something. He has a pretty strong power and I think maybe he's seen something that he hasn't disclosed.
He seems too friendly, he let them go too easily. Definitely up to no good.
I'm gonna be general and say ANY of the Volturi! Since you never learn a GREAT deal about their powers it makes them all the more creepy! Although Jane is probably the one I find the freakiest! She enjoys torturing people too much!
Also Laurent was kind of a surprise! Book one he's all nice and everything. Then BAM "hello Bella 'member me? I'm gonna eat you now!!"
the army of bloodsucking newborns.
The newborns totally freaked me out too.
My answer is Aro. I don't trust him. And something about his papery skin makes me want to vomit!
It's hard for me to say. I agree that there is still too much we don't know about the Volturi (Aro, Jane) which makes them scary.
But I think, so far, Laurent has been the most creepy/scary. I hate the villains that are unassuming. You knew James and Victoria were bad vampires. Laurent never was clear enough about his intentions. He seems so creepy in that meadow scene. I don't know what I would have done.
Hmm, good question!
I would have to say the Volturi. There is still so much we don't know about them. Jane is pretty damn scary, I wonder if she could have a thing for Edward?
