We were discussing the new book cover, and think that perhaps it was mistitled when given to the art people.

5 enjoyed the bouquet.:
Let me be the first to comment on how ridiculously witty we are. So brilliant! ;)
I don't think the TMs think we were very funny - no comments yet on our post :-/
Ah, well. We made OURSELVES laugh!
we do have a higher level of humor ;)
I'm lost... why is that funny? i get the queen on the cover but im still wondering exactly who the pawn is supposed to represent. any help? can some body clarify that for me?
We were just making a play on words - Breaking Dawn to Breaking Pawn. It doesn't make much sense at all, but we were talking and overthinking the cover art so much, and got kind of punchy and giggly and thought that maybe the art people had thought the title was Breaking Pawn when they made the cover. It's just silly.
A couple of theories we've been entertaining...that Bella is the red pawn and the queen is the Volturi. OR that both are Bella - the pawn is her as a human and the queen is her as a vampire. Hmm...
